Dr. Masood Faroq, project manager
Mr. Masood, MD is a professional project manager with more than 13 years of experience in management, leadership, project management and training. He is an IFC World bank Trainers, Course Customizer, and Trainer Assessor. Mr. Masood worked in Afghanistan since 2006. Before joining the Afghanistan Holding Group as a project manager in December 2012, Mr. Masood worked with Adam Smith International in various capacities.
His experience and professional work include business development, project management, change management, management, and leadership, promoting the enabling environment for private sector development with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.
Mr. Masood evaluated businesses from different sectors, conducted an ecosystem review of Afghanistan in 2016. He conducted a 360 evaluation of businesses and developed business plans for growth-oriented businesses. Mr. Masood developed curricula on personal development topics for short-term courses and trained last year university students on personal development topics. Mr. Masood has sufficient experience in management, leadership, private sector development, change management, program budgeting, operations management, human resource management & development, public relations, gender promotion, curriculum development, and training. Mr. Masood has effective decision-making, team working/team building, and communication skills. Mr. Masood holds Medical Doctorate (MD) degree from Kabul Medical University. He is fluent in Dari, Pashtu, and English and speaks some Urdu.
