With international qualifications from the United States, the United Kingdom and Pakistan, our directors are hands on and highly motivated experts with a long history working closely with our leadership. Nearly all of our directors have master’s degrees and extensive Afghanistan experience across a diverse set of industries.

Feroz Rafiq, Senior Audit Director

Mr. Feroz Rafiq (LLM, ACCA, CeIO) is the Senior Audit Director at Afghanistan Holding Group. He has more than 10 years of professional work experience in governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Mr. Rafiq’s experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (a company with over US$500M of assets and over 6000 employees), where he was in charge of the financial and administrative functions of the company, negotiations with donor organizations and the evaluation of new power generation projects; Managing Partner of Synergy Management Consultants where he was responsible for dealing with clients, supervising projects and strategic planning; Audit Supervisor at KPMG Afghanistan Ltd., where he performed the audits of banks, manufacturing companies, non-governmental organizations and government entities.Mr. Rafiq received his Master’s degree in International Commercial Law from University of Westminster UK, his Chartered Accountancy qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK, and his Certified Integrity Officer qualification from the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Academy. He is fluent in Pashto, Dari, English and Urdu.

Yasir Shakoor, Senior Financial Director

Mr. Yasir Shakoor (ACPA) has more than six years of professional work experience in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Mr. Shakoor’s experience includes serving as the Internal Audit Advisor and Lead Trainer for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Finance’s Internal Audit Department (World Bank Audit Training Project), where he developed the legal framework for the application of the internal audit procedures and its implementation for all Afghan government entities. He also led the two-year World Bank Certified Accounting Technician(CAT) building the capacity of more than 70 mid-level employees of MoF working in various different departments. He was the audit supervisor for Rafaqat and Babar- a leading accounting firm in Pakistan and was involved in various statutory and internal audits of private sector companies and the public sector. He has been an ACCA and CAT lecturer in various educational institutes in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Mr. Shakoor is certified Associate Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) and is completing his ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certificate. He is fluent in English, Pashtu, Urdu and Dari.

Hakimullah Shakoor, Financial Director

Mr. Hakimullah Shukoor (BA, ACPA) is a Financial Director for Afghanistan Holding Group (AHG) working in the AFS division of the company. Mr. Shukoor has more than three years of professional experience in private and public sector.

Mr. Shukoor earned his Bachelor Degree in Economics from Pune University of India, his Certified Public Accountant certificate from the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Pakistan and is currently completing his ACCA certification. He is fluent in Pashto, Dari, and speaks Turkish and English.

Sher Shah Rahim, Director of Technology

Mr. Sher Shah Rahim, is currently a student at the American University of Afghanistan. While attending University, working to gain real-world experience and help to pay for University costs. Extensive professional hands-on experience in the field of Information Technology and Social Media; an action- oriented web-developer.
Highly motivated, great attention to detail and timeline management. Mr. Rahim’s portfolio includes establishing, managing and taking projects to success from the ground worth $1million. Mr. Rahim is fluent in English, Pashto, Dari and speaks Urdu/Hindi.

Obaidullah Baha, Senior Government Liaison Officer

Mr. Obaidullah Baha (DIT, BBA) is a Senior Government Liaison Officer at the Afghanistan Holding Group. Mr. Baha has more than ten years of professional experience working with various, public and private, organizations in Afghanistan.

Mr. Obaidullah Baha has successfully completed his Diploma in Information Technology from Quetta, Pakistan and Bachelor in Business Administration from Rana University Kabul, Afghanistan. He is fluent in Dari, Pashto, and speaks English and Urdu.

Sayed Amin, Business Development Director

Mr. Sayed Amin is working as Business Development Director. Mr. Amin graduated from NorthWest University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and is currently pursuing his Masters’ Degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid at KALU Institute. Mr. Amin has more than 14 years of professional work experience in Afghanistan. He has served for Asian Development Bank (ADB) as Program and External Relations Officer, National Consultant for World Bank (WB), Program & Operations Manager for Norwegian Project Office (NPO), Executive Program Manager for National Procurement Authority under Administrative Office of the President (AoP), National Consultant for UNILO, Operations Manger for Equal Access and administrative support services to Aide Medical International (AMI), UNODC, and Oxfam GB since 2002. Mr. Amin is specialized in Management of large portfolios, programming activities, operations, projects, external relations, and development activities. Mr. Amin is fluent in both Dari and Pashto languages, speaks good English and French.
